We had such a great thanksgiving.....we headed up to Lake Tahoe with Matt's family and stayed with family friends...The Acevedo's. Love these people and love going there, we all had such an amazing time with lots of good company, food, games, relaxing and wine :-)

Who has been a terrible blogger.....that would be me!!! holy heck its been awhile since I've been on here and so much has happen with this little family of ours especially our little miss Addie Reese.

She is getting to be such a big girl and one of the BIGGEST things she has done in the past month is.....WALK!! She is getting better and better at it everyday. Right now she can take about 10 steps in a row. It blows my mind that my little girl is going to be one and she is walking...where does the time go!!!

She is also starting to say a couple of words....Mama, Dada and points at everything she wants and says "dat" (that), and if we don't respond to her little wants "Dat" gets louder and louder! And I thought Kenzie had a set of lungs on her, Addie is keeping up with her just fine.

Addie has 12 teeth total now....crazy! She has 3 molars (that was a couple of tough weeks for ALL of us) and because of these pearly whites, she pretty much eats anything and everything. Her favorite foods right now are carrots, blueberries, cheese, watermelon, Mac n Cheese, peas, chicken, Steak, yogurt, ham, turkey and ice cream. She also LOVES anything her Daddy brings back from his hunting adventures (I'm still amazed by that one).

We are going to have her little party this weekend and I cannot wait to watch this little muchkin eat her big cake!

Little miss Addie is 10 months, I have officially started planning her little birthday and I cannot believe it!!! She has changed so much in the past month and is getting bigger every single day. She absolutely HATES baby food and will not open her mouth for that stuff anymore (even if we pin her arms down....trust me we have tried) so she is on to bigger and better food. She eats whatever we (or her sister) are eating. Her favorites include, blueberries, cheese, mac n cheese, spaghetti, toast and pancakes. She has 8 little teeth now and is really good at chewing (or I should say gumming) the food. Another thing that little miss Addie is good at is being a monkey.....well at least climbing like one. That kid can climb on almost anything now and knows how to climb down as well.....crazy! She is up on the couch then down, then up on the ottoman then down, and it goes on and on all day. She literally wears her little self out.

She has also taken 4 steps all by herself!!!!! So now I have been following her with the video camera just waiting to catch those little steps on video!!! So exciting but sad at the same time that my baby girl is growing up.

Addie loves to give kisses, dance (so amusing), snuggle with mommy and daddy in bed, be outside, play with her dolls (or anything that is her sisters), her doggies (can't really say the same for them), and her MOST favorite thing in the her little world at the moment is taking a bath (with her sister of course) pretty much ANYTHING that Kenze is doing Addie is usually right behind her...I love it!

She is my little happy, sweet, loving, ball of fire and I just adore that little girl!

One of Kenzie's favorite things in her little world right now is her pony Barbie. EVERYDAY she asks me "we gonna go see Barbie" or "Mommy I wanna go ride Barbie". She is getting much better and a lot more comfortable about being around her, brushing her, giving her treats and even riding her. I have noticed that if Mommy is riding then she tends to want to ride a lot longer, but mainly she just wants to lead Barbs (thats what she calls her) everywhere. I cannot wait for Kenze to get bigger and better and her and Mommy can go on a trail ride together.

Matt was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays and was in Durham, NC for with triple A team. The girls, grandma and I met him out there and loved every minute! I loved Durham and all it had to offer us, especially the baseball field...so much history. We survived Hurricane Irene and Kenze enjoyed all the cool thunderstorms. We visited Duke University, went to museums, explored the local farmers market, ate at some yummy restaurants, watched baseball and got to catch up with old friends. All in all it was a fun (and sometimes wet) trip.

Gosh have I've been a terrible blogger!!! But our life has changed a bit in the last month or so; on July 31st Matt and was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays and left at 8am the next morning, which left me with two kiddos, two dogs and two cars that needed to be packed up! No worries my Mama and Sis came to my rescue and we loaded up my life and moved home.

We are now back east with Matt and so happy to have this little family together again; it was three weeks that we were apart (way too long).

As for our precious little girl......Addison is incredible! I thank the lord everyday for blessing me with such amazing children.

Addie is so on the move and is into EVERYTHING.....I vacuumed twice a day at home because if she finds anything on the floor it goes directly in her mouth. She also loves to open drawers, lift the toilet seat, and of course play with ALL her sisters toys. On of her favorite toys right now is baby dolls...LOVES THEM. She crawls around the entire house holding on to the doll, it cracks me up!

She is really good at saying Mama and Dada now and also Nana.....not sure if she is knows what she is saying but we love to hear it.

As of late she has decided that baby food is not nearly as good as table food; so I'm going to finish what we have in the pantry and that might be it for baby food! She LOVES to feed herself, she can now eat cut up chicken, carrots, cheese, crackers, puffs and pretty much anything that we are eating minus honey, peanuts and chocolate of course.

There are now 8 teeth in her little mouth and I just love to see those little pearly whites when she smiles at me. She is so stinking cute and such a happy baby, always goes with the flow. We are so lucky to have this little angel in our lives.

My sister got married last weekend at the Ritz Carlton in Dana Point; it was so amazing and so beautiful. The girls were also the cutest little flower girls and Kenzie did wonderful walking down the aisle, she forgot to throw her flowers but since she was so stinking cute no one notice. All in all it was a great weekend spent with family and friends.

Little Addie is getting bigger by the minute!!! I cant believe she is already 7 months old; but than again she acts like she is 10 months old so I should not be that surprised!!! She is a master at crawling now and also pulls up on anything and everything and has also started to transfer from things while she stands! It amazes me that she is already doing these things so quickly....lots of people in our family were early walkers and I'm pretty sure Addison will be apart of that group.

Because she is such a master at crawling now, baby proofing has begun. Its definitely a lot harder now that I have a 2.5 year old that leaves EVERYTHING on the ground and a 7 month old that puts EVERYTHING in her mouth!!! It sure keeps this mama very busy, I guess I'm thankful that I have two portable vacuums.....Ruby and Zoey :-)

This has been a very busy month for little miss Addie....we had Family come in town for Fathers Day weekend and celebrated her uncle Tay Tay and Ky Woo graduating from college!!!! Than later that week we hopped on a plane and went back down south for Aunt Amanda's and Uncle Pat's beautiful wedding. We are now back in Sac for a week and then we head back down south again, this time in the car to go home for THREE WEEKS!! We all get to stay in our own beds...even daddy because he is meeting us there for All Star break :-)

Not Only has miss Addie been a busy traveling bee, she also had another friend pop through her mouth....she got a another tooth! This one was not very pleasant for both Mommy and Addie, so we are thankful that it broke through and enjoying this happy time before another one decides to make an appearance..ha!

Our little girl is getting so big! She is changing so much everyday and her little personality is starting to really show. We call her our little smiley girl because that is all she does is smile.

She has another tooth and one trying to pop through, which makes it three teeth total and of course that makes her smiles even cuter! She has also mastered another big milestone this month...crawling! She gets up on her hands and knees and rocks and then pulls with her arms everywhere; its not the best crawling at the moment but she gets where she needs to go! So now once again its time to baby proof.

Some of Addies favorites are: her daddy (truly the number one man in her life), her sister (hence the crawling already...she wants to do everything kenzie does) mommy's makeup, sippy cups, water bottles, mommy's phone, oatmeal, carrots and tomatoes, avocado's, and her little giraffe sophie :-)

She is a wonderful sleeper...actually she loves to sleep; she gets that from her daddy! We are still trying to work on food, she is definitely my picky eater. Some days are better than others, so we are starting the homemade baby food with the intentions that she starts eating a little better.

We are all enjoying every moment of this little one, she makes all of us melt :-)

it was a big hit!!!

Easter was a great day....Kenzie woke up to eggs in her bed on her floor, leading her downstairs to her big easter basket....the Easter Bunny came!!!!!! Her and Addie had big baskets full of lots of goodies just for them!! Then it was a wonderful relaxing morning with a yummy brunch and then we were off to daddy's game. After the game Kenzie got to do her Easter egg hunt line.....Matt used to do it when he was little.....its a long line of yarn that you follow and on the line there is lots of goodies and eggs just for you!!! At the end of Kenzie's line was the most adorable potty chair....I think this just might be the trick to seal the deal on potty training!!! After the hunt we had a very yummy dinner and chocolate mouse egg cake...yum! It was a wonderful day...we are all so fortunate to have each other and have such a wonderful family...I am so thankful for everyone in my life and feel so blessed.

Our Baby girl is 5 months old!!! Its still amazes me how fast time goes bye. We are all nice and settled up north and for once I can say that I love our place for the baseball season.

Little miss Addie has had a really big month; she now sits up on her own, rolls over from back to stomach (she sleeps that way) and she also eats rice cereal! I am so proud of my sweet baby girl. she makes her mama such a happy person.

She absolutely adores her sister, only has eyes for her and it melts my heart. I know she cant wait to walk or crawl so she can follow her everywhere. That is going to be interesting to see how Kenzie handles someone else playing with her toys :-)

She loves to sleep and HAS to have her naps, because you better watch out if she doesn't!!!!! She loves to laugh and be tickled and she also loves baseball games....so much entertainment!

Her hair is getting so much longer and its growing in blond and her little eyes are so blue....I know I'm her momma, but she really is so beautiful and she melts all of our hearts more and more each day :-)

Little Addison turned 4 months on the 23rd of March (yep I'm so behind in the blogging) and it has been a fun, exciting, stressful, and tiring month to say the least! Mackenzie unfortunately got a bad cold and of course she CANNOT stop kissing her sister, so poor little Addie got it too. But when a little baby gets it, its seems to be so much worse. We ended up taking her to to the emergency one night because her breathing seemed pretty bad...they diagnosed her with broncolitis and had to stick little tubes down her nose to suck all the mucous out...poor baby!! Then because she had so much mucous she got an ear infection....bless her little heart!

While all this was going on she also got her two bottom teeth!!!! It shocked us on how fast she got teeth and because all of this her sleep schedule is a little messed up (not fun for mommy) but we are working on it.

Amongst all this she still manages to be the happiest baby in the world. Matt's parents used to call him smiley guy because all he would do is smile all the time. Addison is our smiley girl because that is seriously all she does. She is also sooooo ticklish, it cracks me up whenever we tickle her.

I have a feeling that Addie is going to do things pretty quickly, because of her older sister. She is already trying to sit on her own she can role over from back to tummy and loves to be on her tummy. She wants to do everything that her sister does, she is completely mesmerized by Mackenzie and of course Kenze just loves it.

My little muchie is such a blessing and we are all loving every minute!

Addison just turned 3 months old and even with our second, it amazes me how much babies grow and change. We have the most wonderful 3 month old, she laughs, coos, smiles and talks ALL the time! She is also a wonderful sleeper (which is something I am not used to..haha) and let me tell you, she NEEDS her sleep! Once nap time roles around and if she is not swaddled in her bed...WATCH OUT! Its the simple things that please her and yes being swaddled in her blanket and bouncing her on her ball (its a big exercise ball that we bounce on with her) puts this little girl to sleep in a matter of minutes! But this little routine is hard to do when we are out and about...so we are working on that.

She absolutely ADORES her big sister.....all it takes is Kenzie's voice and Addison has the biggest smile on her face. Lately I tell Kenze to jump and dance for Addie and when she does Addison just laughs....I swear she can watch Kenze for hours.

She is a BIG talker....she has so much to tell us and we love to listen. She is starting to talk while we are in the car too...I love that!

She is a growing happy baby and we could not be any more proud of our baby girl.

We went to the Children's Museum in Phoenix and Kenzie (and Matt) had a blast! She played for about 3 hours straight and loved every moment. Such a great place to take kids; but unfortunately has A LOT of germs and poor Matt had to suffer through that for a couple of days. Yes he played with EVERYTHING too...haha.

My husband has worked so hard this offseason on our property trying to make it a wonderful home for us. I complain sometimes that he spends more time on that darn tractor of his than he does inside the house! But it has payed off. He bought this little tractor at the end of the season last year and oh my goodness he was seriously a kid in a candy store with that thing all offseason long! Here are some pictures of all the work that he has done....oh and I guess I do think his tractor is a little sexy :-)

A little update on our BIG girl....Mackenzie is such a little crack up lately. She is now saying things that Matt and I cannot stop laughing at. The latest is EVERYTHING is beautiful "oh mommy that is beautiful" or "look mommy the stars and moon, they are beautiful." Matt and I call her a little parrot because she repeats EVERYTHING we say and do! We also taught her the song "Shake shake shake...shake your bootie" It is the funniest thing to hear when she sings it!

She adores Addison and Addie likes her too, whenever Mackenzie talks to her Addie smiles and looks so happy. She also adores all her grandparents and her Uncle Tay Tay and aunt boobie and she cannot get enough of her dogs and they are sooooo patient with her.

She can count from 1 to 10 and knows all her ABC's and the song too! We are working on her colors, right now everything is either red or pink (such the princess).

We are sooooo proud of our little girl and are enjoying every little moment of her :-)

Addie and her best friend Elsie (only 2 hours apart)

Our little Addie is getting so big! She is such a wonderful baby and makes me smile every minute of the day. She is starting to smile herself too and tell us little stories, she also recognizes her Mommy (who is her favorite person right now). She is a great sleeper and loves a schedule; she takes about 4 to 5 naps a day and also sleeps 5 to 6 hours straight at night and loves to be swaddled tight and rocked to sleep. She also has such amazing patience with all of us....especially her big sister who cannot get enough of her!

Her hair is a brown right now but she has blond growing in, so I'm anxious to see what color it will be. Her eyes are a light blue and her lashes are getting long and thick (which is what every woman wants), she also has such an amazing smile with the cutest little dimple to go along with it. I just love to stare and talk to her, she is truly the sweetest most lovable baby, we are so in love!

Addison always has two people giving her a bottle :-)

It has been a very blessed but a little stressful month....Addison has taught me that true fact that not all kiddos are alike!!! Poor little thing I was doing all the things that I did with Kenzie and just assumed thats what all babies like.....boy was I wrong!!! Addison is also very vocal and will let you know the minute she is upset or wants something. So through trial and lots of error I have now realized that Addison loves to be swaddled really tight (kenzie did not), she loves for you to hold her swaddled and dance and sing to her, she also LOVES her sleep....do not let this little child get overtired or you will be in for it!!!! Eating of course is her most favorite thing...she never lost any weight from the hospital and at her two week check up she had already gained 16oz and grew 3 inches...YIKES!!! She is a little weed and we love it.

Addison has also taught me that your heart grows the minute you have another child....I love this little baby so much it hurts and I cannot wait (but I can a little) for her to grow and change before our eyes.

We had a really great Christmas and New Years this year, Mackenzie of course made out big this year with all her presents. She got her first little kitchen and loves it....she cooks us something different every night. She also got lots of coloring things, pots and pans, stuffed animals, books, clothes, bath toys and the list goes on and on. Between her birthday and Christmas she started to ask me everyday if she could open a present! Addison also got a few things of her own too and soon she will be able to enjoy them.

For New Years Eve we packed up the entire family and drove to Arizona for our good friend Mark's wedding. It was a short but very fun trip, we stayed at the Arizona Biltmore and it was the first time that Matt and I were away from the girls for more than two hours!! After we rang in the New Year with great friends we went back to a room of sleeping kiddos!! Grandma and Papa did a great job getting them to go to sleep and it was soooo nice for Mommy and Daddy to get a little time away :-)

We are so excited for 2011 and we feel so blessed for our girls.....its going to be an amazing year watching them change and grow....HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Mackenzie turned two a week ago and again as I always say, its crazy how fast they grow! She of course made out like a bandit with toys, she got a tricycle, a race track, table and chairs for her tea time, and much more. She had a blast too; the theme was Cars the movie (which is her favorite) actually she is obsessed with any car and horses so we decided to do cars for this birthday and maybe we can do a horse theme for the next one :-)

Everyday my child amazes me with the words that she is saying and the things that she is doing. She has become very fond of the word "no" which is so much fun for Momma. She is such a little talker too.....never stops!!! Pottey training has taken a step back since Addison has arrived but we are making a little comeback....so hopefully in a couple of months she will be wearing big girl panties. Other Mackenzie's favorites are: her tea set, her baby dolls, her dogs and of course her new little baby sister.

She really has been so amazing with Addison, she loves to watch diaper changes, bath time, feeding and just watching Addie sleep. She tells me that she wants Addie to "sit" and she points to the floor so she can "read book Addie". I know she cant wait for her to get a little bigger so she can play with her. She kisses her 100 times a day and LOVES to give Addie her binky. One funny story is when Matt was sitting with Addison and Kenze on the couch, Addsion started to get fussy and Kenzie got up grabbed Addie's binky and gave it to Matt and said "here daddy" and then goes and sits back down to continue watching her show on TV!

Our new little bundle of joy has arrived and we could not be any more blessed. She is by far a gift from god and we are so thankful for her and her big sister.

I forgot how easy newborns are compared to toddlers (haha); she is such a wonderful baby, basically she eats, sleeps, and poops right now but I love to just stare at her precious little face. Her delivery was pretty awesome too...5 hours and one and a half pushes and she was out!

Mackenzie is really in love with her; she LOVES to kiss her and rub her head and is very gentle. Its still an adjustment for Kenze and she has her moments at times (which I'm blamming the terrible twos on) but all in all she is doing really well with our newest addition.

I always wondered how a mother can love another child as much as her first, and now I know that your heart just gets bigger because I am so madly in LOVE with both of my sweethearts.

Meet Barbie, Mackenzie's little pony that her Nana and Papa got for her. I know crazy that a 23 month old already has a pony, but my family has been involved with horses since I was a little girl and its pretty much a way of life in the Dickinson Family. Both my brother, sister and I had pony's so to keep up with the tradition Barbie is a new member of our family. Let me tell how much my daughter is IN LOVE with this little pony, she has her own little pink grooming kit and really enjoys brushing her and giving her carrot treats (we are working on the correct way for Mac to hold her hand while giving the treat). She got to ride her for the first time yesterday and would not get off, even when it started to rain a little. Finally we had to explain that Barbie had to go night, night and a kicking and screaming Mackenzie had to get out of the saddle. She is so in love with that pony that she brought me my shoes last night and said "Mommy go bye bye" and I asked her where are we going and she said "Barbie ride", oh boy are we in for it!!!

We have been home now for a couple of weeks and it has been soooooooooo amazing!! We have been doing projects around the house, decorating for Halloween, cooking dinner every night and getting ready for Baby Addy. Matt has already been on his hunting and fishing trip too; he has not been able to do that for the past couple of years so it was much needed and lots of fun for him. One of the projects has been Mackenzie's Big Girl Room and let me tell you that she LOVES it! It was hard for me at first (seeing how my little girl is growing up so fast) but I AM adjusting. I'm due in about 5 weeks, so we are going to continue getting the nursery ready and just enjoy the last days of being a family of three.

When the boys came to play the Angels we had our wonderful friends the Pennington's and the Tolleson's stay with us at my parents beach house. We had such an amazing time; the weather was unbelievable.......so for three days all of us girls laid in the sun, ate lots of food and did a little shopping, while the boys played baseball. It was such a great way for all of us to end a long but amazing season; we are sure going to miss them this off season.

SO FUN!!!!

Now only three more months until she is 2! Can I have a tissue please.....it makes me so sad and happy to see my little baby grow up so fast.

She is such the little talker now, her sentences are getting much better and she remembers EVERYTHING! Hearing all her new words and phrases just crack us up, "where binki go?" "there it is!!!" or "bye bye see u morrow" and "go see nana and papa". One of my favorite sayings lately is when Matt has a day game and leaves before she wakes up; when she does get up she says "Daddy bye bye; baseball?". So sweet!!!

She is completely obsessed with her dogs, she wants to be just like them (which of course entails drinking their water and eating their food...yuck) and whenever we are away from them she ask me every single day "see Ruby and Zoey" and I have to tell her "no they are with Nana and Papa". And sometimes she just understands and says "Ruby and Zoey bye bye?"

She loves being outside and playing on the slides, swings or her pool when we are home and she also loves to clean! Yep I have managed to teach my daughter to be as crazy about cleaning as I am. She loves to take any kind of wipe and wash windows, doors and tables. Lately she also hates when there are crumbs in her stroller or her car seat; she will swat them out before she gets in and says "yuck" while she is doing it! Its so hilarious!!!

She also loves to color, whenever ever she draws or makes something she says "look mommy look" because she is just so proud of herself. Counting has become another favorite, she can count up to ten (I think its more recognizing the numbers). She likes to grab a certain number of anything and she will point at each item and try and count " four, five , six!"

We have also moved to the stage where she will refuse to let me feed her; she screams "SELF, SELF" so therefore we leave extra tip at restaurants or use a drop cloths at home because food is everywhere!!! But she is getting better everyday at using her fork and spoon, thank goodness!

Pottey training is our next milestone that we will be tackeling, she loves to sit on her potty and she tells me when she poops or pees. So I'm hoping that it will be easy....I can always pray. We are waiting for baseball to be completley over so that way Matt and I can dedicate a week of not leaving the house and be on full potty training mode.

We all are really looking forward to the off season because there are so many things to look forward too; especially the birth of little Addison. Right now we are going to soak up every moment with Kenze and try and rest as much as we can before we become a family of four!!!

20 Months old!!!!!!!

Wow I cannot believe that our little miss is going to be 2 in four months and she is also going to be a big sister too :-)

This past month has been a crazy one, but we feel so blessed that we have been able to be together as a family.

It all started with the fourth of July in Reno with all the kiddos; we had such a wonderful day and Mackenzie really enjoyed watching the fireworks (which really surprised me). Then we had to pack up the car and head to Oakland (no complaints) and a couple of days later we had Reese's little birthday party; and the girls had to say goodbye to each other because Reese was heading back to Georgia for the season. Let me just say my child STILL does not understand why her little friend and dancing partner is never at the baseball games anymore, but we are managing. Then it was All Star break and daddy came home in July for the first time in 10 years!!!!! We had such a wonderful time enjoying our new home, especially Mackenzie; she got to play outside with her dogs, swim in her little pool and play with all the toys that she had not seen in months!

On all of our adventures I always make sure that I have a few essentials that are Mac's favorite....her crayons (she loves to color), her movies (especially Caillou), her baby doll (must go to sleep with it EVERY night) and her little princess dolls. She really has been such a sweet little thing seeing how Matt and I are always on the go with her. She has also started talking much better now and has begun to say phrases; such as "Daddy at Baseball", "which way", "look mommy bird (or whatever animal it is she sees"and "want snack". We think our little stinker is just so smart and she definitely has us both wrapped around her little finger.

All three of us are so looking forward to the off season; Mackenzie ask for Zoey and Ruby EVERYDAY; so we are headed back south in a week and then we will meet up with Matt in September:-) Such a crazy life, but we LOVE it!!!

18 and 19 Months Old

Where has the time gone!!! I have been such a terrible blogger too; I'm just now updating our little Mac at 18 months and she is almost 19 months old!!!

Well lets see what has she been up to lately.......EVERYTHING! She has gotten so much better at talking, she does not really point and grunt anymore, she now points and says whatever it is that she wants; water, binky, baby, snack, food, Zoey, b-ball, movie. She is also completely in love with her baby doll....it goes everywhere with us and it sleeps with her every night too:-) She is totally in love with baseball too (she calls it b-ball)...i know how ironic! Whenever she is at the games she recognizes Matt's photo on the big screen and says "Daddy" it is so sweet and whenever she sees baseball on TV she says "Daddy" too.

Another favorite thing of Kenzie lately is her new best friend Reese McPherson (she is one of the daughters of the players on our team) all Mackenzie says all day is "Reese, Reese, Reese"! They both have such a blast together and it is hilarious to watch them play.....Mackenzie always tries to copy what Reese is doing (so funny).

We are enjoying our Summer here in Northern California and are excited for the 4th of July coming up soon and of course All Star Break, when Daddy gets 3 days off!!!! I promise to post more often now that we are private :-)

17 Months Old!

Wow it seems like it has been a decade since I last blog about our little family! We have been super busy trying to get settled into our new home away from home and our new "baseball" routine. It has been crazy but a blessed couple of months; Mackenzie is growing up so fast, it makes Matt and I so sad sometimes. She is a very active, talkative, and of course ADORABLE little toddler.

Some of Mackenzie favorite things are: Daddy, outside, bath time, bubbles, babies, shoes (i know so funny), books, dancing, her princess phone, and baseball games!!!

Every time we see a baseball game or player she points and says Daddy and claps and laughs...she loves it! We have started to do the "Your Baby Can Read" and she is getting better and better everyday, she knows how to do and say most of the things on the DVD. She knows where her eyes, ears, nose, toes and mouth are and she knows how to say them too. She is also getting much better at please and thank you too:-) So smart! And unfortunately we have already taught her how to be vain because when we ask "who is the most beautiful baby in the world?" she says "ME"!!! So terrible :-) We also have to be extra careful too of what we say because she repeats EVERYTHING.

She aslo has such a diva personality and can get very frustrated with us or something at times so we are working on that, but its really hard not to laugh especially when she sends herself to timeout!

And of course one of the biggest things that has happened to Mackenzie in the past couple of months is.......she is going to be a BIG sister!!! I am due in November and Matt and I are so excited to add to this little family.

15 Months

Our little girl is changing so much! She really does not look like a baby anymore and starting to look like a toddler. She is VERY independent and has to walk EVERYWHERE, but is also a good listener and stays by mommy when she is suppose too:-) Outside is one of the most amazing things to Mackenzie....that's the only place she wants to be and she will be entertained for hours. She throws tantrums when she has to come in.....yes tantrums full blown throwing her head and body on the ground screaming! My child is very dramatic and stubborn which can be good and bad traits:-)

Her hair is getting so long and thick which makes Mommy happy because there are so many new hairdo's that we get to do:-) Along with her hair, Mac's vocabulary is growing by the minute, she says so many words and also repeats a lot too. She also understands most of everything I say like: lets put on your shoes, sit in your chair, outside, sleepy time and so on. She is still very obsessed with the dogs and now her latest is she likes to feed Ruby the dog food from the bowl; surprisingly enough Ruby likes it...go figure. Oh and its just dry or I would be hysterical....you have to pick your battles:-)

She is most definitely all girl...she LOVES babies and now grabs her doll and puts it over her shoulder and pats its back and says ahhhh...SOOO CUTE. She also LOVES cell phones, she has her own princess pink one that she walks around with, flips it open and puts in up to her ear (sort of) and says "hi"....again SOOOO CUTE! She has also really started to like clothes, she loves to pick them out in the stores...she goes through the racks (that she can reach) and says "ohhhhh" and "ahhhh". And of course just like her Mama she LOVES shoes and now picks out what she wants to wear that day, sometimes it what Mommy wants her to wear another times not so much:-)

Matt and I love this stage, as we have loved them all. It makes us sad sometimes because she is just growing up too fast, so we are just soaking up every moment because they fly bye.

Well we FINALLY moved into our new home and then of course a week later we packed up our cars and headed to the desert to start baseball season:-) But we don't mind, we are just so thankful for our new wonderful home and are so excited for all the memories to come.

Christmas and New Years

Our family had such an amazing Christmas and we are so thankful for the many blessings that came to us this year. We have such an amazing family and cannot wait to see what is in store for all of us this new year.

Christmas was wonderful; Mackenzie made out like a little bandit with all the toys and clothes that she received. I swear half of the living room is packed down with her toys (we are in the process of getting a toy box). Two days after Christmas Matt, Mackenzie and I got on a plane with my entire family and went to Kauai! It was such a awesome trip and a much needed one for all of us:-) Mac ate sand EVERYDAY and we all ate amazing food, got amazing tans, and had some great family time.

Little "Miss December"

We had Mac's little birthday party on Saturday and it was a long but really fun day. It rained outside the entire time but that did not keep little Mackenzie's spirits down, she had so much fun playing with her little friends, eating hotdogs, opening presents, and of course eating cake! It was also fun for Mommy and Daddy to see everyone and catch up. Now its on to Christmas time; which of course is the best time of the year!

Our Little ONE YEAR Old!!!

Well its official little Mac is a toddler! Mackenzie turned one on Saturday and it was such a bittersweet day for Matt and I, its so hard to believe that it has already been a year. She has changed so much in the past month, she is walking all over the place now and starting to get faster and faster (I know running is just around the corner, yikes!). She is talking up a storm, more of her own language but there are a few words that we understand, Mama, Dada, dog, cat, bird, that, horse (according to some people) and of course uh oh. She is also starting to say Zoey but it sounds like Doey:-) She imitates EVERYTHING we do and when she wants something she points and grunts really loud (so lady like).

She likes to take off any piece of clothing that she can, shoes, socks, pants, bows and sometimes diapers! Which drives me crazy because it is so darn cold outside (for California its cold). She will not wear a darn thing on her head; so all those adorable little beanies will not be on my child:-)

Some of Mac's favorite things in life are vanilla wafers (thanks to Papa Eric), riding on the Polaris or the golf carts with daddy (she cries when we take her out), riding in her Wagon, and now thanks to daddy chocolate chip cookies (why do I even bother with the Organic healthy diet!). She absolutely loves the dogs, petting them, getting in their waters, laying in their beds and yes I'm admitting this eating their food (only once)! I guess our daughter thinks she is a dog:-)

We had a tiny celebration on Saturday for her birthday, but the big party is this weekend because not all the family was around for her actual B-day, and everyone wants to see her in her little tutu eating cake:-) So stayed tuned for pictures of her party!

11 Months Old

I cannot believe almost a year has gone by since our little angel arrived into our lives, I now get to really plan for her birthday party:-)

Mackenzie keeps changing everyday; she is really starting to get such a personality. She now throws little tantrums when she does not get what she wants; she will throw her head and arms on the floor and cry really loud! Oh us girls and our attitudes:-)

She can now stand completely by herself and can take about two steps towards us and then she realizes that no one is helping her and sits down. She will also walk and just be holding on to one of our fingers and the minute we let go she sits down. So I know walking and even running will be in our near future, but I'm not going to push it because I know once they start to walk than its a whole new ball game:-)

We are having a really great time here in the Dominican; Mackenzie, Mommy and Daddy are all getting really tan. One of our daily routines here is going to the pool:-) Mac is getting much better in the water, if I tell her to kick she does and we are working on getting her comfortable on her back in the water. We get to go to the beach this coming week and stay a couple of nights before we go home to the states for good; so that should be interesting for little Mac.

She now has a total of eight teeth and pretty much has written off baby food; she always wants what Mommy's is eating; I think her favorite food right now is bananas and spaghetti (with the sauce of course).

Escrow on our new home closes around the 20Th of this month and we cannot wait to move in and just relax for a couple of months before baseball starts all up again:-)

Who's the fairest one of all.....Mackenzie is!!!!! Little Mac was Snow White for Halloween and boy did she look beautiful being a little princess! She even ate her poisoned apple:-)While the boys where playing baseball all of us girls took Mac to some new friends house out here who just adopted a 16 month old baby boy named Jason and they already have an 11 year girl. So Mac had so much fun dressing up and playing with too many toys!!!

Before we left for the Dominican we went to the pumpkin patch at home and it was the only cold day in California so far...so Mac got to wear her cute little fall outfits! We had such a great time going with Grandma and seeing the animals and crawling all around the pumpkins:-) Hope everyone has a very spooky Halloween!!!!

10 Months!

I can't believe that 10 months have gone bye; it really does seem like yesterday that we brought Mackenzie home, and of course she is still amazing us everyday with her new and old little ways. One of her favorite things to do is reading her books, she flips through all the pages and just talks to herself and tells her own version of the story. Her favorite book is "Where's Spot" because she loves to flip up all the different pages (well the pages that she has not torn off). She has now learned some of her songs too; when we sing Old Mac Donald to her she can also say Ee--i--ee-i-0 and when we say patty cake she starts to clap her hands (so cute).

Its getting really hard to hold Mac these days because all she wants is down!! Which was not really fun towards the end at the baseball games (godbless the family room!) She still crawls like a little champ and cruises and still pulls up on everything. She is starting to let go and sometimes will walk to us without help if we are sitting really really close to one another:-)

It has not only been a busy month for little Mac but also for Mommy and Daddy too; We sold and moved out of our old house and now are in escrow on a new house! For the time being we are staying on Grandma and Grandpa's ranch (which is so much fun) and we will also be in the Dominican Republic for a little while too because Daddy will be playing baseball there.

We love our life and thank God everyday for all the blessings that he has sent to us!

9 Months!

Mackenzie is nine months old!!!! We cannot believe how big our little girl is getting; everyday she changes more and more. She is still crawling like a champ and is ALL over the place, she now knows how to move her safety gates (not good for mama) and gets so excited when she gets out! She is into every drawer, cabinet, bag and pretty much anything else she can get her little hands on. She has a couple of new words, she can say uh oh (she says it after I do) and she says baby; she also understands no (so funny) and she understands when I say "come to Mama". She can now cruise from furniture to furniture and I know walking is in our near future (oh boy).

Some of Mackenzie's favorites are: Swimming (she can now get dunked with mama), Avocado's (cannot ever get enough) and her Daddy reading her books to her.

It has been a crazy past couple of weeks for little Mac, she now has 6 teeth total and trust me we are so happy that they are all out and we are all sleeping great again! We have also been traveling like crazy this month, first Mac and I and the dogs drove back home for a couple of days to visit family and pack up our house that we sold, then we flew to Salt Lake to watch Daddy play baseball and ended up staying a couple more days with our friends the Kings and it was so much fun for Mac because she got to hang out with all the kiddos. She Especially loved little Sophie, she kept hugging and kissing her it was so cute! Oh and between all of this craziness we also went to the doctors and Mac is super healthy and growing like a champ. She weighs 21 1/2 pounds (90%) and is 281/2 inches long (90%). She just could not be anymore perfect and everyday she just melts my heart even more!

8 Months

Our little angel is 8 months old; goodness how time just flies by. Well where do I start on how much she has changed in the last month. Mackenzie now has a total personality; when she does not get what she wants oh boy look out! And she is such a little ham; it does not matter who it is or where we are she is talking and smiling at people, it just cracks me up. She says Mama, Dada and Nana now and I think she really does know who we are because at night when she is tired she says Mama over and over, it just melts my heart. Her top two front teeth have broken through (finally) that was hard; poor little thing she was such a trooper. Her side two on the top are now coming in too before I know it she is going to have a full mouth of teeth!

She is a champ at crawling now and she is in EVERYTHING!!! She is also a champ at standing up on anything and she cruises around the furniture too, she is on the move and loves it!

One of her favorite things to do is play with Ruby; she loves to grab Ruby's toys and play tug-a-war with her. Its so funny! And she chases Ruby all around the house (its kind of like a little babysitter haha).

I love my little sidekick that is always with me she really has made our lives complete and we are so thankful everyday for this little gift that God sent to us.

This has been another big month for little Mackenzie; she is crawling!!! Which she loves so much because she can get anywhere and get into EVERYTHING. Daddy had to baby proof everything because you name and she is in it. She is also starting to pull herself up onto furniture, which she thinks is the funniest thing in the world. She is also a little speed racer in her walker (watch out for your toes!!!) she now goes wherever Mama goes.

I think her first word is going to be Dada, because she is saying it but I still don't think she knows exactly what she is saying. When you ask her "can you say Daddy?" she gets a huge smile on her face but nothing comes out.

We went on our first baseball road trip with Daddy to Reno, Nevada for the Forth. We had such a great time and Mac was such a champ staying in the Hotel; nothing phases her not even fireworks! She loved them, we got to go on the field after the game and she sat on Matt's lap and just watched them the whole time. It was SOO CUTE:-)

Mackenzie and I are going to be keeping the roads extra hot this month, we pick up Daddy this Sunday once he gets to the field from his road trip and head up to Lake Tahoe for All Star break with friends, we are so excited to relax and have some great family time. After Tahoe, Mac and I are heading back down south for eight days to see all the fam. Then we are back up here. Its going to be a busy month but I have the best little companion that tags along with me:-)

Holy cow, has half a year really gone by? Goodness it seems like yesterday that little Mac was born. She is getting so big and of course still filling our world with so much sunshine.

This month has been a big one for Mac, she has her first teeth!! They are so cute and she is such a champ about teething too, hardly ever gets fussy. She now eats three meals a day and has been pretty much introduced to most foods. She loves it too, especially when I feed her in her highchair when everyone else is eating at the dinner table because she feels like such a big girl. She rolls over both ways now, so baby proofing is in my routine because she is all over the place. I think crawling will be in our future real soon because she is starting to do the rock while sitting and she puts her hands down but just cant figure out how to get her legs in the right place.

We went back down to So Cal for two weeks! It was so wonderful to see all of our family, but so hard to be away from daddy (but i think it was extra hard for daddy). We did so much while we were home but never made it to the actual beach because it was June Gloom down there:( We did make it to the doctor though and Mackenzie is doing great, she is 18lbs 7 oz (95%) and 27 1/2 inches long (100%) so big!!

Papa taught her a new little trick, when you put your hand on her mouth and move it back and forth she makes noises and sounds like a little Indian (bababababa) so cute! She loves doing it so much that now she is starting to do on her own with her toys. Gotta love Papa's for teaching us such neat tricks:)

We are now back in Sacramento and trying to get back into our routine; Matt is home for most of the month of June which is so nice for all of us. I think both Mackenzie and I are a little road trip out for awhile, so we are going to enjoy just hanging out with our friends and watching daddy play baseball.

Mother's Day

I had such a wonderful Mother's Day with my little girl. Mackenzie got Mama some really great things and we had Grandma Jayne and Great Grandma Marcia here for the weekend. It was so much fun; we had picnics in the park, shopping and a wonderful brunch for Mother's day. Thanks again Grandma Jayne:-)

5 Months!!!!

Mackenzie is 5 months old today and has had such a big month, she changes so much everyday. She now can sit up on her own, which she loves to do because she can play with all of her toys that Mama puts out in front of her. She has tried rice cereal and loves it! She now eats it twice a day, we are hoping to introduce her first vegetable in about two weeks. She knows her name when we call her she looks over and gives us the biggest smile it just melts our hearts. She went to the pool for the first time and did really good, she was kicking her legs and smiling; it was such a hot day so I know the water felt so good:-) She now does this big belly laugh that is just the funniest thing in the world. Those are just some of the things that little Mac can do, we just think she is so amazing and we love to just stare at her in amazement.

Baseball is going good, we are getting into a great routine. Mackenzie just loves the games and she is definitely on baseball schedule now, which is great for Mommy and Daddy:-) Whenever Matt leaves for a road trip we are so said, but when he comes home Mackenzie's eyes get so wide and her feet start kicking; she loves her daddy so much.

In a couple of weeks we are heading back down south to visit family and friends, I cant wait to take Mackenzie to the beach its going to be so much fun! Well happy Cinco De Mayo everyone and just clink on the slide show to the right to view our little angel's pictures.

Happy Easter!!

The Easter Bunny came today for little Mackenzie and brought her all sorts of things! But she was way more interested in the wrapping:-) She also got to wear her beautiful Easter dress and go to her daddy's game with her Grandma Jayne, Aunt Nicole and Uncle Kyle; who all came to visit for Easter. It was such a fun full day for Little Mac:-)

4 Months Old!

Our little Angel is growing up so fast she is 4 months and a week old today. This past month has been a big one for little Mac. She can now roll over from her back to her tummy and because of that she is spending so much time on her tummy, I swear she is going to crawl before she sits up on her own! She laughs all the time now and its the cutest laugh we have ever heard. Everything goes in Mackenzie's mouth no matter what you give her she puts it right in; so funny!

She was weighed a week ago at her 4 month check up and she is 16lbs 2oz and 26 inches long (such a big girl!!). After spring training we went home for a week and stayed on the ranch where Mackenzie got to see all of our family and a horse for the first time:-) She was not real sure what it was but like to look at it run around the pen.

We are now in Sacramento for the season and getting settled into our routine. Mackenzie is getting so good at traveling it took us about eight hours to get here and she did so amazing! Mama went and got her so many toys so she had plenty to do the whole way up here.

Now are next challenge is 7:00pm baseball games, this should be really interesting since Mac is usually in bed no later than 9:00pm:-) But she is such a little trooper that I know she will be great because she is our little baseball baby:-)

Day at the Ball Park

Mackenzie goes to most of all the games, but today was extra special because she got to take some pictures with her daddy in her little Athletic Gear. Go A's!!!! She wishes her nana was here to see her and misses her already. Love you mom:-)

3 Months Old!!!

Mackenzie is 3 Months Old!! Wow how time fly's; we are having such a great time here in Arizona, hanging out with friends and soaking up the Sun! Little Mac is getting so big; she talks all the time now and squeals (its getting louder and louder) and smiles at us too. She has found her hands and loves to put them in her mouth as well as grab onto her little rattles and put those in her mouth too. She can hold her head up great now and is becoming stronger everyday.

She went to her first baseball game and fell asleep! So funny I guess that's what she thinks of baseball (haha). She is such a good girl at the ball games; she loves to watch all the people and loves to listen to the noises. Almost everyday her and I take the dogs to the park and walk around the lake; she loves to be pushed around in her stroller. One of our favorite things is when we are laying in bed together and she loves to touch my face; she touches my mouth, eyes and nose and talks to me softly while she does it (SO SWEET).

We are so in love with her and she is melting everyone's hearts everyday. Now its on to our next adventure; moving up to Northern Cali to start the season!

2 Months Old!

Mackenzie is 2 months old and is changing everyday. She is smiling at us all the time now and telling us stories too (soo CUTE!). Last week she went to the doctors and had her first shots (not a good day for her); she weighs 12lbs 2 oz (90th percentile) and 24 inches long (97th percentile) such a big girl. She can lift her head really good now when she is on her belly and loves to stand (with a little help). Her favorite place in the world is her changing table, that's where she tells her biggest stories! I love kissing her cheeks; I cant stop!

Its baseball season again so we packed up the cars on Sunday and all of us (dogs included) headed to Arizona. Matt is with the Oakland Athletics now so we got to only drive 4 hours instead of across the country (so nice). Mackenzie did great on the drive until the very end, when she was ready to play and not sit in her seat. We are now getting settled into a routine in our condo here in Arizona; we are excited to start watching Daddy play baseball and also excited to see all of our friends!

1 Month Old!!

Mackenzie is one month old; and we love her more and more everyday! She celebrated her first Christmas and got so many clothes and her first rocking horse! Papa Bill cannot wait to get her a real pony; but that is going to be a few years so instead she has this to hold her over!
She is now starting to make little sounds (instead of just crying) and she is smiling a little bit; we are working on a really big one, but have not seen it yet! She is such an eater too, she is over 9 lbs now and growing everyday. She can lift her head a little when she is on your chest all by herself! (such a strong girl).
We just adore her and know that we are so blessed to have this little one in our life.

Well our little girl is finally here! She is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to us. She was born on December 5 at 5:41 am after a 24 hr labor (yeah so long) weighing 6 pounds 15 oz and 19 inches long. She has lots of dark hair and blue eyes; my mom brought my baby album over and there is a picture of me at 3 days old and its identical to Mackenzie. Matt is the most wonderful father he pretty much does it all and does an amazing job at it. When she hears his voice it really soothes her (she is already a daddy's girl!) We are getting somewhat on a schedule; but pretty much just enjoying every minute of her!
